Along with slightly less local personalities Duff Badgley and Trey Smith, Tom and Maryrose have been publishing there for months - in addition to their great notes and blogs here.

For all you who love to write, why have your prose and announcements disappear as soon as they are emailed out? Inaccessible by Google and other search engines and unavailable to new members, our discussion list is not archived. On the other hand you can start your own blog and then more easily sort, filter and refer others back to your previous musings.

You too can scratch your blog itch by attending a 60-90 minute course on blogging to www.VashonGreen.org. Time and location are to be determined, but soon! You'll need a PC laptop (ideally), a bit of text or two to post, and for extra bonus points a photo or other graphic.

CAVEAT 1 - ONLY applicable if you already have set up your blog! (If not, see this entry.) CAVEAT 2 - ONLY applicable for computers running Windows XP or Vista.

Well, if you are new to creating a blog you may wish to defer this for a bit, but sooner or later I think you'll come to appreciate being able to see how your blog will appear - as you are writing it! Install Windows Live Writer, and you'll be able to do just that.
